Car Storage in Christchurch
All of our storage units in Hornby are indoor and each has drive up access with its own alarm. The smallest of our units that will accommodate a vehicle are our 14m² units which measure 5.5 m long x 2.5 m wide. Prices for vehicle storage start at $80 per week (incl. GST).
Getting a car in and out
- The site is U-shaped, so you can drive through to any door.
- The access road is fully paved, with room for trucks.
- Your swipe card opens the gate 24 hours a day, 7 days a week, including public holidays.
- Every unit has its own alarm sensor, with 24 hour monitoring.
- All units are indoor. We don't have outdoor storage.

Questions
Can I work on my car or other project in my unit?
No. Our units are for storage only. If you want to do some sort of very light work on something please check with us as we may allow it in limited circumstances. The use of power tools, welders etc is strictly prohibited due to the risk of fire.
Do you insure my goods?
No we don’t. If you want your goods insured we suggest you have contents insurance and check the policy to see what it says about stored items. Most modern policies allow storage up to a certain value for a certain period of time however we advise people to notify their insurer so that the changed risk can be noted on the policy to ensure you are covered in the unlikely event of something going wrong.
